AWA Water Management was established in 1986 and is situated in Kyalami, Midrand. AWA specialises in industrial and commercial heating and cooling water treatment as well as the provision of safe drinking water.
We design, supply, install, commission and maintain water treatment plants predominantly for the HVAC and refrigeration industry as well as water softener plants, ultra-violet treatment units and filtration systems for industrial and potable water treatment systems. Treatment of raw water from rivers, lakes, boreholes and other groundwater sources to comply with SANS 241 drinking water specifications is possible.
AWA maintains, at present, around 340 water treatment projects in shopping centres, office blocks, hotels, fitness centres, hospitals, data centres and cold storage buildings nationwide.
These plants are serviced by our service teams on a monthly or quarterly basis depending on their strategic importance to the client.
Our in-house laboratory test water samples for compliance with our clients’ requirements and our own standards.
For SANS 241 (spec 1 and spec 2), Legionella and other potentially harmful bacteria, we test water samples in co-operation with other certified SANAS laboratories.
